I sent through a message in the evening. A lovely lady phoned me back. She explained the process really well and all costs. We then agreed that the team would come through in the morning to unblock my drain. I had to work. So i arranged for my mom to be at my home to let the team in. She was overly impressed by the team. She says that I HAVE TO use them again if ever we have a blocked drain!!

Good service in Johannesburg has unfortunately become a scarce commodity. I have used the Drain Surgeon several times and the service has always been good. My latest experience, however, exceeded all my expectations and raised the bar. My house is older than I am and the drain pipes probably date back to WWI. Blocked drains occur regularly and my insurer doesn’t pay for anything that is old (which is why I won’t get life insurance for myself) when my latest problem came wafting in the wind I phoned Drain Surgeon. Exactly on time Thabo and his colleague arrived. They assessed and then Thabo explained to me what they were going to do, how they were going to do it and what the possible outcomes might be. How refreshing to be notified and made to feel part of the process. Thabo identified the problem and again explained in detail what needed to be done, how long it would take to fix and undertook to send a quote. He warned that it was not going to be cheap. I really appreciated it as it gave me time to prepare myself emotionally. Yes it was shocking but because I felt safe in the hands of a professional like Thabo, I agreed. The very next day Thabo was back with his crew. He again kept me in the loop all the time and reported on progress at regular intervals. Thabo really has excellent verbal skills and an engaging personality. Thabo had warned me that the job might have to be done in phases. Phase one was completed successfully and the evidence found underground matched Thabo’s predictions. He explained how the second phase would be tackled and how he suggested it would be done with the least damage to the garden. He then undertook to send a quote. I nearly had a heart attack when I got the steep estimation but what saved my life was again the fact that Thabo had prepared me for this! I am now in the process of selling the family jewels to see if I can scrape together what is needed! Seriously now, you have a jewel in young Thabo and he is truly an asset to your company. I hope you appreciate him. I’m not easily impressed but Thabo ticked all the boxes!
